Nutrition/Diet Recommendations

Generally, whenever possible buy only organic, non genetically modified (GMO) foods. Any questions, always ask the store manager/owner.
MILK and DAIRY
Consider using Organic Valley or Horizon products available at Natures, New Seasons etc. Although pasteurized, they have no hormones, antibiotics, etc. Organic Valley is the one I recommend first. Organic Valley Butter is best.
GRAINS
Consider organic whole grain, non GMO. Avoid boxed cereals. Regarding grain foods, consuming only organic whole grain foods could boost your energy. Conversely, consuming commercial grain foods (refined flour, enriched flour products, genetically modified foods, pasta etc) will only deplete your energy systems in the body and rip off your B vitamins and other minerals.
FRUITS and VEGETABLES
Seasonal fruits and vegetables are best. Organic, non GMO.
PROTEIN DRINKS
Check ingredients. Should be Whole Foods. Whole Food Powder/tablets , ProMin Powder/tablets and Phytofood Supergreens from Nutriplex is my recommendation for protein drinks. Ask for my drink recipe that even my teenage kids love for breakfast! Imagine your kids asking for a healthy breakfast drink!!! Avoid soy unless organically grown. Also B Food Powder/tablets for B Complex foods.
MEATS and SEAFOOD
Consider only organic meats. Seafood should be wild, not farmed. Eggs should be from scratchers and organically raised.
WATER and DRINKS
You should assume unless you know otherwise, that all liquid (water/drinks) have fluoride in them, not to mention chlorine and other chemicals. This is part of the foods of commerce problem. Fluoride is a dangerous poison and you need to be aware of this, and avoid it whenever possible. Bottled, spring, or filtered water is recommended. If you drink coffee try to get organic.
FATS
Butter, virgin olive oil or other fresh oils are best. Horizon and Organic Valley are the best companies for butter and dairy. I think Organic Valley is the better of these two.
SALT
Salt your food to taste. Use Celtic Sea Salt if possible. Nothing has been done to it! Regular salt is sodium chloride a very toxic chemical.
REGARDING WEIGHT LOSS/MAINTENANCE
Many people are either trying to lose weight or maintain there weight. So, in addition to your diet of fresh organic non GMO foods, try to eat only fresh fruit/vegetables after 6:00 pm. (University of Illinois study on weight loss).
